Fashion and celebrity stylist, host and speaker Kalee has worked in the industry for 10 years as well as on feature films, television, commercials and pop promos.
Having worked on a broad range of high profile projects, as both a stylist and host, Kalee is in huge demand for her expertise. She also styles for a range of international fashion titles and a number of prominent TV personalities.
Kalee’s focus is now on directing, producing and hosting fashion content for TV broadcast, live events and online digital media platforms. Alongside this, she is fast building her portfolio of public speaking engagements and her unique flair has led her to host events concerning subjects beyond the realm of fashion.
Kalee has recently spent some time in the United States producing fashion content for the luxury fashion, beauty and lifestyle video shopping platform Joyus. She writes topical engaging fashion scripts infused with her expert style knowledge and advice and hosts the content for their online media.
Alongside Joyus, Kalee has presented for various online fashion sites offering her expertise. Her talents do not stop there; she is an avid writer and regularly features in fashion pages and is currently the Contributing Fashion Editor for Absolute Magazine in Sussex where she graduated with a BA Honours in Media Practice & Theory in 2004.
Kalee recently hosted fashion TV series ‘Design Genius Season 2’ and was appointed as head judge on the show. The 6 part series saw designers compete in challenges for the title of ‘Design Genius’ and the cash prize of $20,000. The show was screened internationally on Fashion One with over 120 million reach across Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Europe, Middle East and South America.
For the past two seasons, Kalee orchestrated her own style workshops exclusively for the British Fashion Council and presented them to the VIP fashion elite at London Fashion Weekend. She also directed, produced and hosted video content for THE EDIT feature on their website which attracted significantly large audiences.
Kalee worked in association with The Clothes Show Live touring the UK with the Suzuki Streets Ahead team and presenting live style workshops onstage to fashion focused audiences. She hosted the fashion stages at The Clothes Show Live at the NEC in Birmingham and interviewed celebrity guests and offered audiences industry expert advice. To add to her list of live events, Kalee was appointed fashion spokesperson at Newbury Races to advise people new to racing on what to wear.
Kalee was beauty correspondent for Rimmel London for the past three seasons at London Fashion Week and delivered trend reports direct from the runway. She hosted a series of online fashion and beauty videos to launch across their wide media platform.
Recognized for her enthusiasm for beauty, Kalee was ambassador for world-renowned skincare brand Jergens and pioneered and developed a flip animated sketchbook of style tips and advice for a campaign focused on ‘how to put your skin on show.’ As part of the project, she provided one on one style consultations to Fashion Editors of the leading and most influential fashion titles.
Alongside fashion, Kalee also has a keen interest in health and fitness and collaborated with Slendertone to deliver key expert fashion tips that were filtered through their social media channels to give guidance on how to dress various body shapes.
Kalee works with corporations providing personal styling services to their employees. She designed the uniforms for Aurum Holdings’ chain of fine jewellery stores to ensure the visual concept of the brand met their marketing messages. She works closely with companies that believe in investing in their employee’s wellbeing, and has looked at ways to help increase staff member’s self-confidence. This area of work has proved very popular in instances where employees have been made redundant and Kalee has been drafted in to help raise self-esteem levels and provide a style overhaul.
Kalee is also a very useful and knowledgeable source for schools, colleges and universities in providing insight into her work as a fashion and celebrity stylist and expert within her field. She provides teachings on the industry as a whole, and gives guidance and tips on the best way to go about dressing to impress, dressing to complement body shapes and advice on how to embark on a career within the industry. She offers first-hand experience, which is paramount to the understanding of what is entailed and the journey that is required.
Ongoing, Kalee is the creator, editor, writer and blogger for The Style Hanger fashion blog and associated YouTube channel.
Regularly labelled by industry experts as an influential figure in fashion, and renowned for her warm personality and extensive knowledge of the fashion industry, Kalee is in demand to host fashion events, campaigns and projects.
